Week 4 Cleveland Browns at Cincinnat Bengals

Well this is the battle of the Ohio Teams again! We have the Cleveland Brown here at Cincinnati for a home game. I know they usually say the home team always win but I am not too sure on some teams. I am not predicting who will win this week; all I am saying is that the Bengals may win. I am not predicting who has the best defense, offense or special teams because the Browns have not come out this season any better than the Bengals. I mean, look at them; they are 0-3 too! The only thing I will say; I don't want to see a game like our last year home game with them. That was crazy! Neither team showed any defense, I don't care if the score was 45-51.

A few notes thought: I want the offensive line to predict Carson, Carson needs to release the ball quicker, we still need to get more first downs, complete 3rd and 4th downs, have a better running game and score when we are in the red zone!
I don't care what the Browns do we need to pound them in the ground!

A quick prediction for the other 2 teams in the AFC North. The Baltimore Ravens is at The Pittsburgh Steelers, this is a home game for Steelers. I guess I will give the edge to the home team. When I look at the 4 teams in our division, I hope that the Bengals will eventually get to the top or above one of the other lower teams. I do have a preference for Steelers in this division. I feel after the Steelers poor showing in their last game, they will be hungry! I will say the Steelers will get the win by a touchdown.

Bengals Fall Short in loss to NYGiants by 23-26!

We played a good game this week. I feel most players were playing way better than they played in the first 2 games. Carson was showing some leadership; offense and defense played way better. I feel defense was the best asset this time. They did keep Giants scoring down but we need to score more and play the clock better. Some passes to Chad Johnson aka Ocho Cinco was still a bit off. He had chances and dropped 2 but I know one was on a hard hit. TJ still had some catches and a few good blocks so that was good. All in all we made progress this time, if only we can keep it up when we play Cleveland next!

The NY Giants played a good game as only the current super bowl champs should! I have to admit I love Eli Manning's confidence and leadership now.

On my other picks, I guess some of teams I enjoy watching or following, lost this week. The Cowboys were the only ones to come through. Until next week picks, have a good week!

Week 3 Bengals at NY Giants

This is horrible! I cannot go with my Bengals this week. I am so torn but I have to go with my feelings on who the true players are! I will make this short and give my prediction and tell you why. I will add a personal note since I had a bad week but blessed to say, it was not like the hurricane victims. I pray, they continue to succumb the events of this week. On Sunday, the 14th; we all know now that the Bengals lost to Titans, we had a wind storm in some parts of Ohio and surrounding areas, lost power for X amount of days&some still without it tonight, my personal laptop crashed on Monday, ran out of gas on Tuesday due to people going crazy at the gas pumps&stations ran out of gas but all in all I am happy now! I am still at work, LOL; doing what I love most, BLOGGING! I gotta get out here, I must be crazy!

On to the game! I do not see any defense, offense or special teams on the Bengals. I do not know what happened! I think they shut down temporarily but we may not see much this week.

I have to admit; I love how the Giants play with excitement, competitive and coming to win! All their parts are working: defense, offense and special teams; even without retired Strahan, injured Umenyiora and maybe someone I don't know about, they still function. I am going with Bengals 10 - Giants 24.

I will throw in a few more predictions real quick before I go:
Pittsburgh Steelers 27 - Philadelphia Eagles 17
Dallas Cowboys 24 - Green Bay Packers 14
Detroit Lions 17 - San Francisco 49's 10
Cleveland Browns 20 - Baltimore Ravens 17

I Don't Believe It!

I don’t believe that we can lose 2 games in a row!
The game last week against the Ravens was horrible. You would have thought we forgot how to play football. When their starting quarterback has more rushing yards than our running backs, it does not seem right! When Carson is at the bottom of the list in QB rating that does not seem right! I figured after that Ravens game, we would play better this week.

We started out looking good. I thought defense was showing some promise. I thought we can win this game. The offense was making some strides so I knew we would have the first touchdown. I was wrong, Titans scored first. Well, we got time too make some scores. The wind was blowing strong all over the tri-state and I thought; we can blow them away. I guess not, before halftime the power went off in the tri-state and it must have gone out for the Bengals too! We eventually got a touchdown and that would be it. I didn’t get to see or hear anymore of the game as the radio station they were on, seem to die out like the Bengals. I found out later while listening to one of our local radio talk shows, that the Bengals lost to Titans 24 – 7. Oh well, there is next week!

Week 2 Titans at Bengals

Well! here we go again, another week to look forward to. I so love the Bengals after our week 1 meltdown! Vince Young is out this week with a knee injury but doesn't make the game less of a challenge. Carson Palmer our seasoned QB goes against Kerry Collins their seasoned veteran QB. I know Kerry Collins is older, don't play many games but he is still good! He took the Titans through some playoff games last season and I thought they were going to make it to the Super Bowl game. He lead the players down the field with good ease. I am not concerned about who starts, it doesn't matter with us. All I hope is that Special Teams, Defense and Offense come out to give a competitive game and get a win!

I am going with the Bengals this week, we have just as much chance as the Titans. I feel both teams are pretty equal on talent. We just need to execute better!
I will say we win! Bengals 24 - Titans 14

Week 1 Bengals vs Ravens

I love the NFL! I love the Bengals! This is the day I have been waiting for. A new season, a fresh start, some new players, old ones are gone and some familiar faces remain. The bottom line is; the game does not change. As Herm Edwards has said; "we play to win the game". I hope we win Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. It shouldn't matter that we do have Rudy Johnson, Willie Anderson, Deltha O'Neil; you get injured, make a mistake, get old or it may be money: you may be gone. It doesn't matter that you were dependable; just like our 9-5 jobs, you are gone. As some leave, one is back; no matter how many mistakes you make, one, two, three or more: Chris Henry is back! Well, just like the start of last season, he is suspended for the start of this season, 4 games. We will survive without him. Now on to my prediction for the game.

The Bengals need to play good defense, rush and blitz the quarterback, stop their running and passing game. The offense needs to protect the quarterback,no penalties, no turnovers, get more 3rd downs and hopefully 4th downs. I am not too concern about the running and passing since we can run or pass all we want but we need to get those downs. I hope Carson gets a chance to get the ball out, don't throw too high and just be accurate. Of course, receivers need to catch the ball, hold on to the ball and hopefully get touchdowns. Special Teams just need to do their part, don't fumble the ball and hopefully get good yardage on the returns.

Bengals 17 - Ravens 10
